Our Lady's promises at Montichiari are tied to the three roses and the Hour of Grace: Those who honor her as the Mystical Rose will receive her special protection and an increase in vocations within their religious communities and orders.

She appeared as a mother with a hungry baby and asked a Hindu shepherd boy for a cup of milk. He gave it to her, and when he arrived at his customer's house, the pot was overflowing with fresh milk. She appeared to an ordinary wife and grandmother with only four years of schooling and gave over eighteen hundred messages, all granted an imprimatur. A forgotten life-sized statue of Our Lady, blessed by Pope Leo XIII in 1884 and stored in a bell tower for a century, was found when Our Lady appeared beside it and said, "They have forgotten me, but I have emerged." Jesus himself spoke through the visionary, saying, "The Ark is My Mother. He who rejects My Mother rejects Me."

She has appeared daily to six visionaries for over forty years, giving thousands of messages centered on five pillars: prayer, fasting, the Eucharist, confession, and Scripture. Her first words were, "I have come to tell you that God exists and that He loves you." She calls herself the Queen of Peace and has said, "If you would know how much I love you, your heart would weep over it."

She appeared to three teenage girls in a Rwandan boarding school and showed them a vision of a river of blood, decapitated heads, and abandoned corpses, exactly what would happen in the 1994 genocide twelve years later. She pleaded, "Repent, repent, repent!" and "Convert while there is still time." She taught them the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows and said, "I am the Mother of God. But I am simple and humble. I'm always in the place where you are."

She appeared six times to a simple sacristan in Nicaragua and delivered the most practical messages of any apparition, speaking about marriage, family, and daily life: "The suffering of this world cannot be removed. That is the way life is. Talk, converse, so that problems will be resolved in peace." She told the people, "Don't ask for peace without making peace, because if you don't make it, it does no good to ask for it."

She chose a title never used before in the history of Marian apparitions and gave the most tender, personal messages ever recorded: "All of my children are the same. There do not exist rich ones or poor ones, ugly ones or beautiful ones, black or white." Over one hundred and fifty people saw her on a single day in 1984, and the apparitions were approved in consultation with Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the future Pope Benedict XVI.
