The messages return again and again to a single sober sentence: "without God you do not have a future." Earthly life is short, "everything is passing, only God is not passing," and Our Lady frames her decades of appearing as a mother leading her children home: "I am with you to lead you towards Heaven." Eternal life is not offered as consolation but as the actual point, the destination that makes the prayer, fasting, conversion, and courage of every other collection worth it.

Here the invitation becomes ambitious: not merely to be good, but to "shine holiness like a spring flower." Holiness is described as a way that is difficult and full of temptations and falls, one that Our Lady personally walks with each person, holding their hands. The call is to decide for holiness in ordinary life, to fight "for the holiness of every life," and to become saints not in spite of the world's darkness but as light within it.

Our Lady repeatedly locates the renewal of the world in the home: the family rosary, family prayer, Advent as "prayer of the family." She asks that peace be prayed for in families before it can exist in the world, and pays particular attention to children and to the sick within the household. The family is treated as the first prayer group, the first church, and the first casualty when prayer disappears.

Fasting is presented alongside prayer as one of the two great weapons, capable, in one famous message, of stopping wars and suspending the laws of nature. But sacrifice is broadened beyond food: offering up sufferings, renouncing whatever distances the heart from God ("false happiness, false hope, false splendor"), and making one's very life an offering. It is the theme where love stops being sentiment and starts costing something.

Our Lady speaks of her own joy at their response, and paints heaven's logic simply: "the good that you give will return to you, and joy will enfold your heart." Gloom, in these messages, is quietly treated as a failure of faith.

She calls for monthly confession, for hearts cleansed and offered, and frames the entire era as "a time of grace" that will not last indefinitely. The tone is that of a mother waking sleeping children: God is near and hears, but humanity is lulled to sleep, and she was sent to awaken it.

There are practical instructions too, such as the family rosary, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and prayer groups where people encourage each other to the good. Prayer is presented as the means by which every other request in every other collection is accomplished.

The messages insist that peace in the world begins as peace in the individual heart, then radiates outward to the family and then to nations. It is never achieved politically but received through prayer, fasting, and reconciliation. The faithful are called to be peacemakers, and the diagnosis is repeated across four decades: where there is no God, there is no peace.

Our Lady asks for abandonment to her Son: hand over your wounds, your past, your future, and let Him rule. Perseverance in trials is treated as a form of courage in itself, and the promise is always companionship. "I will be with you and my hands will hold you."
